I’ll be the initial in my family to earn an university degree, and that’s something I hold really close to my heart.
My family and I transferred to the United States in 2014 We selected Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and construct a better future.
When I finished high school in 2020, I chose to join the Army Book so I could function full time to assist sustain my household financially. Along the way, my moms and dads constantly advised me of the importance of a college level. Honestly, I dealt with the decision between picking work over institution.
That changed when I discovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my degree 100 % online from an approved, nationally acknowledged Carnegie R 1 university. The flexibility of the program made it possible to balance job, life, and education. As soon as I enlisted, I recognized I made the ideal option.
As an online trainee, I remained included with school life with profession fairs and signing up with student companies like the Society of Personnel Management. I intended to get one of the most out of my university experience and get in touch with individuals who shared my enthusiasm for HR.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of loss semester. Many thanks to the support and structure of UofM International, I was able to complete strong, even making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 courses while serving on active duty, and I’m proud to state I’ll be finishing in May.
Having the ability to offer my country, sustain my family, and earn my level implies the world to me. I really feel prepared to take on whatever follows.
